Digital Access Guide - Digital Learning Ecosystem

The Asia Chartered Institute of Digital Marketing (ACIDM) provides a digitally enabled learning environment designed to support students throughout their academic journey. As part of this learning environment, ACIDM delivers online classes through Microsoft Teams and provides dedicated digital platforms for learning resources, assessments, examinations, student support, payments and academic information.

To ensure a smooth and effective online learning experience, students are required to have access to a suitable device, a stable internet connection and the necessary digital accounts and applications.

ACIDM’s digital learning ecosystem enables students to attend live online classes, access learning materials, complete assessments, submit required documents, monitor attendance, participate in examinations, check results and scores, provide feedback, and access programme-related information through dedicated online platforms.

A stable internet connection is essential for participating in live online classes, accessing the ACIDM LMS, completing assessments and attending online examinations. Students should ensure they have sufficient and reliable connectivity throughout their academic activities.

Minimum Requirement: 5 Mbps
Recommended: 10 Mbps or above

Students may use a stable 4G, broadband or fibre connection. A backup internet connection or mobile hotspot is recommended where possible.

Students should have a suitable device that can comfortably support Microsoft Teams, the ACIDM LMS, online assessments, and other digital learning activities. We strongly recommend a laptop or desktop computer for the best learning experience.

2. 4 GB RAM

5. Speakers or headphones
6. Keyboard and mouse/touchpad

Recommended: Intel Core i5 / Ryzen 5 or above with 8 GB RAM or higher.

ACIDM conducts designated live online classes through Microsoft Teams. Students must ensure that they can successfully log in and access their respective class/team before the scheduled session.

Students should have Microsoft Teams installed or access it through a supported browser, with a working microphone, speakers/headphones and camera where required. Students are encouraged to test their Teams access before their first class.

The ACIDM Learning Management System (LMS) is a central part of the Digital Learning Ecosystem, providing students with access to their academic information and learning activities anytime, subject to system availability.

Students can use the LMS to access study materials, learning resources, assessments, medical document submissions, attendance updates, session feedback, session calendars, programme timelines, examination information, and results/scores. Students should regularly check their LMS for the latest programme updates.

The ACIDM Help Desk provides a dedicated digital channel for student support and communication. Students can use the Help Desk when they require assistance or wish to provide feedback regarding their learning experience.

The Help Desk can be used for general enquiries, technical support, general feedback, complaints, suggestions, LMS-related assistance, online learning support and other student service requirements.

ACIDM provides a dedicated examination platform to facilitate live online examinations and related examination activities. Students are expected to ensure that their device, internet connection and examination access are ready before the scheduled examination.

The platform may provide access to live examinations, examination schedules, instructions and other examination-related activities communicated by ACIDM.

ACIDM provides a dedicated online payment platform to facilitate convenient and secure digital payments for applicable programme and institutional services.

Students should use the official payment platform when instructed and retain the relevant payment confirmation or receipt for their records.

While the ACIDM LMS serves as the primary platform for programme-related academic information, ACIDM may use additional communication channels to ensure students receive important reminders and updates.

Depending on the programme and requirement, communication may also be provided through WhatsApp, email, the respective Programme Manager or Programme Coordinator.
